Addison Kids' Club (AKC)

At AKC, we foster each child’s individual needs and honor their own unique learning style. We love engaging and teaching children while promoting successful developmental skills. I am passionate about teaching children how to 'learn to love to learn'. I take pride in encouraging children the importance and value of learning (even the boring stuff) and how applicable it can be to their everyday life. We encourage children and families to share what is important to them at home so we can incorporate it into our own curriculum and program. We pride ourselves on providing open ended activities with materials that can be used based on their own creative imagination. My personal philosophy with children is that they have a path in life that may be different than my path, but my job as an educator is to help them discover and reach their own path.
