  • Covenant Presbyterian Church host community dinners for food-insecure individuals in wake of SNAP cancellation

    The Covenant Presbyterian Church in Palo Alto ( 670 E. Meadow Drive, Palo Alto) will host two free dinners for food-insecure community members of all ages on Sunday, November 16 at 5:00 p.m. Anyone who was affected by the slashing of federal funding for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is encouraged to stop by. Gluten-free and vegetarian options will also be available for attendees. The food will be served in the Fellowship Hall, located next to the church sanctuary. Parking is available in the church’s lot off of East Meadow Drive, as well as the Mitchell Park lot bordering the church.
