Board Member Highlight | Andrew Dinh
February 15th, 2023
Coming from Houston, TX to finish his training in Pediatric Anesthesiologist and Pain Management Physician, Stanford School of Medicine, Andrew Dinh brought his family to an unfamiliar place with many uncertainties in childcare and the community. From across the country, PACCC’s infant-toddler staff made coordination seamless for Andrew and his wife, Cindy Pouw, and were very quick to help establish childcare for their family. The PACCC teachers and administrators have not only become a stable part of their children’s lives over the past 3 years, but Cindy and Andrew consider them a part of the “village” that has helped nurture their boys. Throughout the pandemic, PACCC was always ready to help care for AJ and Charlie whenever their parents’ work and training schedules became hectic. As a PACCC Board Member, Andrew is hoping to give back to PACCC and its programs by expanding its outreach in the community, while also helping children learn about health and the human body during circle time. As a PACCC Board Committee Member, Cindy is involved in planning for the growth of PACCC’s programs, while also providing early childhood vision screenings to the PACCC infant-toddler groups as a community optometrist in Palo Alto.
