What PACCC Offers
Our staff devote their professional lives to this field because they are motivated to do more than just take good care of children (although they do a very good job of that) – they are in this to love children. We can’t wait to meet your child, we will treasure all of your child’s wonderful and unique traits, and we will think about your child’s best interests long after closing.

Researched Play-Based Education and Enriching Experiences
Through enrichment, we bring education to life for the child and families within each of our programs. Here at PACCC, we follow child development research that conclusively shows children learn best when they are learning about a topic they care about. At every age level, our teachers pay close attention to what fascinates the children. It is then our job to develop educational and enriching experiences around that curiosity. If everyone is talking about the latest pirate movie, the teacher will lead them to construct a ship and learn about sailing. If some children are crowding around a big spider outside, the teacher will show them a variety of insects and observe the anatomical differences with them.
Benefits: Maximizing children’s learning and development through all aspects of child development.
The Whole Family is Our Mission
We know that our services are essential to working families and because you are asking us to be a second family for your child, it means we become family with you. We establish and maintain collaborative relationships with each family. We take the opportunity to invite and learn about our families’ cultures within our programs. We offer a family-focused care philosophy to support the whole child and family learning experience.
Benefits: These relationships are sensitive to family composition, language and culture. To support children’s optimal learning and development, programs need to establish relationships with families based on mutual trust and respect, involve families in their children’s educational growth, and encourage families to fully participate in the program.
Devoted Teachers and Child Development Experts
Our staff devote their professional lives to this field because they are motivated to do more than just take good care of children; they are in this for the love of children. We have established developmentally, culturally, and linguistically appropriate and effective teaching approaches that enhance each child’s learning and development in the context of the curriculum goals. Our teachers recognize differences, such as learning styles, needs, capacities, interests and cultural backgrounds, and use instructional and nurturing approaches that are appropriate for each child, as well as collectively as a group. PACCC hires teachers with the educational qualifications, knowledge, and professional commitment necessary to promote children’s learning and development, and to support families’ diverse needs and interests. PACCC also provides ongoing professional development and trainings for staff to enhance their skill set, approaches and the curriculum within our programs.
Benefits: Builds trust, thereby creating growth of relationships between children and teachers. Teachers who have specific preparation, knowledge, and skills in child development and early childhood education are more likely to provide positive interactions, richer language experiences, and quality learning environments.
